W/end only Spring Retreat (S,T)

Birding, walking, yoga & nutrition Single bed in twin room

Service Description

Your guide has been coming to North Norfolk as a professional bird ecologist, birder and photographer for 25 years. She'll reveal Spring's sensations to you as you hike across mentally refreshing vistas of salt marsh, sand dune, reed-bed, beach and conifer forest; this place is renowned for its breath-taking wild biomes, and an international treasure chest for birds! From hunting marsh and hen harriers, kestrels and sparrow hawks, to barn owl, spoonbill, avocet, maybe a ring ouzel, or wryneck could even pass through! You'll experience the golden hour of sunrise too, accompanied by a dawn chorus of bass-booming bitterns, pinging bearded tits, warblers, cuckoos, and purring turtle doves. In Spring, everything from smelling sweet hedgerow blossoms to enjoying views of seals, otter, hare and egg-stealing stoats will captivate and thrill you. Daily yoga, anxiety-busting breathwork, and cacao meditation will always take place outdoors, sometimes on our 15 - 20,000 walks where you can float with the clouds, feel sand between your toes and grasp what it is to be fully alive. Living communally in a spacious rural converted barn, three meals a day are taken care of by Superfood SupperClub using foraged, and locally-sourced produce to connect you more to this environment, its wildlife and teach you what really matters in nutrition for optimal health. Expect to learn as you glow, inside out. You’ll leave here energised, but relaxed - better equipped for life's next challenge. Join the Retreat on Saturday 6 April at 11am, with either Friday or Sunday night B&B included in the price. *Booking for a single bed in a twin room. There are two bathrooms and an extra toilet shared between a maximum of six people.
