The beating heart of a NewNormalFitness wellness retreat is an unforgettable birding, or wildlife experience that your guide, Sarah is passionate and knowledgable about.

 

Maybe you're a birder, or nature photographer who doesn't know how to find, or get close to a dream target species; perhaps you are stressed, or burnt out and curious about how much Nature Connection Therapy can help you; or perhaps you just want to join a group of like-minded naturalists - already knowing that sharing an experience gives it more power? Whatever your reason, you're in the right place.

The retreat is a complete change from your normal patterns and bad habits - a chance to focus completely on connecting to nature, a step back from city life, a digital detox. Seeing the golden hours of dawn and dusk; walking 15 - 25,000 steps a day; stretching with outdoor yoga; learning beneficial meditation techniques; and entering "flow state" whilst nature watching, or trying yogic breathing techniques will reset healthy physical and mental function. You'll definitely align more with your circadian rhythms, and hopefully break poor sleep pattens. This is the perfect place we evolved from, where mind, body and environment are in synergy. Nothing is compulsory, we guide and offer - you may choose to opt out of some sessions, and that's ok with us too.

Naturopathic nutrition is an important part of the retreat catering, it means "food as medicine". We offer the right sort of juices and smoothies and three balanced, nutrient dense, healthy meals a day to treat your body to the nutrient fuel it needs. We are told it tastes as good as it makes you feel!
